Enrolment

It is essential that children are enrolled at Westgarth OSHC to be able to attend the service. We recommend that you enrol your child, in the event that you need last minute care. Our service uses My Family Lounge for enrolments and bookings.

 

Enrolling your child includes providing your contact details, along with other emergency contacts, providing any medical or dietary concerns and relevant documentation, providing CRN details for Child Care Subsidy (CCS), and other relevant information regarding the care of your child. 

 

My Family Lounge

New families

We ask you to follow these 3 simple steps.

Step 1
Click on the REGISTER button. You will then be taken through a registration process to create your MFL account.

Step 2
Log into your MFL account and tell us about you, your child and what bookings you are after so we can help you out.

Step 3
If you have requested permanent bookings, we will come back to you within 48 hours and advise if we have a spot available for your child. If we have a spot, we will email you an offer and ask you to accept the offer and complete and submit the Enrolment form in the MFL portal.

My Family Lounge Guardian Guide

Existing families

Existing parents simply enter your username (email address) and password to log in and manage your account.

 

You can enrol additional children via the ADD CHILD button.

 

 

 

 

 

Permanent and Casual Booking

Permanent bookings can be made via the My Family Lounge wesbite. 

Casual bookings are best made through the My Family Lounge smart phone app, or by email.

 

 

Absenses and Cancellations

Occasional absences and cancellations for both casual and permanent positions can be made by families using My Family Lounge smartphone app, by email, phone or in person.

Notification of an absence for Before and After School Care must be received 24 hours before that session commences to avoid being charged the full session fee.

Notification of an absence for Curriculum Day Care must be received 5 days in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee.

Absences due to illness are automatically relayed through the school’s Compass system and do not need to be notified to the service, nor do they incur any fees.

Complete cancellations of permanent bookings should be in writing be via email and include the final date your child will attend.  We require at least 24 hours notice for permanent changes to take effect.



Payments

Our preferred method of payment for OSHC is Direct Debit, which you can sign up for through the My Family Lounge platform - here is some info on how to do that.

Eftpos payments can also be made at the OSHC office.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Families that are eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can provide their child's CRN and the CRN of the parent that is linked to the child in MyGov to access CCS.
