Transition programs play an important role when students change year levels, as well as when new students enrol at our school.

Each year teacher's use their professional knowledge of how students work best by creating student generated friendship groups which consider such things as gender, equity, special needs and academic balance.

Teachers at Westgarth support students with a 'within school' transition program in term 4 each year - and provide the following year's teacher/s with a substantial handover to ensure all students continue to be happy and successful.
