Apple and Rhubarb Crumble


  • 2 chopping boards
  • Scales
  • 1 large metal bowl
  • 1 Baking tray or 25 coffee cups
  • 1 deep sauce pen
  • Pastry brush
  • 1 cooks knife
  • Peeler



  • 500g rhubarb
  • 300g apples
  • 250g raw sugar


  • 200g plain flour
  • 150g raw sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 150b butter

What to do


  • Cut the rhubarb into approximately 2mm pieces. Then peel and chop the apples
  • Place rhubarb apples and sugar into saucepan and cook slowly, stir occasionally until tender.
  • Place fruit into oven proof containers.


  • Place all ingre dients into a large bowl and rub through with fingertips until the mixture is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle crumble over fruit.
  • Bake at 200 degrees celcius for 15 minutes. Or until topping is golden brown. Remove from oven, allow cooling and serving with cream.
