Westgarth Primary has voluntary summer and winter uniforms.

Sun safety

Westgarth Primary School is an official Sunsmart school. In accordance with our Sunsmart Policy, we employ a "no hat, no play" policy from the 1st September until the end of April. Children must wear broad-brimmed or legionnaire style hats at all times when outside at play. Broad-brimmed hats are available from the school office for $11.50. It is important to remind children to wear tops that cover their shoulders, especially when playing outdoors.

Footwear

Schools are about maximizing student participation, particularly when it comes to encouraging children in being physically active. For this reason it is important for students to wear appropriate footwear to school so that they can run and play safely. Please be mindful when buying shoes for school that they fit appropriately and are suitable for playing, running and attending Physical Education and sport classes. Shoes with ankle support and covered toes that will sustain climbing and running are highly recommended.

Uniform shop

The Uniform Shop is run offsite by Lowes Australia. Purchases can be made by visiting the shop at Northland 2-50 Murray Road Preston, located next door to Kmart or going online Westgarth Primary School - Schools Online Australia // Lowes.

Due to our Sunsmart Policy, hats will be available for purchase through the School Office at any time throughout the year.
